I count the years

I am counting the years
and I realize that the time to live is getting shorter.
Somehow I feel like a child who ate the first half of the chocolate, with pleasure
But now he realizes that there is still half left,
so he begins to enjoy the rest of the treat even more.

Honestly, I don't have time for endless chats anymore
where about the weather, food or morals
talking for hours
and at the same time essentially says nothing.

I have no time for people whose time has stood still
and who, despite their age, have not yet grown up,
nor do they want to grow up.

Time is too short and too sweet for me
I love the substance, the depth, the honesty
my soul is in a hurry
as if he knows that I don't have so many chocolates in the package anymore.

I want to live next to you good people, full of humanity,
with values and kindness,
people who know how to laugh at their mistakes
and who assume their responsibilities
and plus they don't "inflate" themselves like peacocks for their material victories.

Human dignity is defended with truth and honesty,
And that is what makes life worth living.

I want to surround myself with you good people, You who know how to touch hearts,
Which life has dealt you heavy blows
and yet you have retained tenderness in your soul.

Yes, I'm in a hurry, they keep telling me I'm in a hurry, but I want to
to live fulfilled, inspired and wise.

And honestly, I have no intention of throwing away any of the rest of the chocolates.
Because I know each one is delicious and sweet,
Even sweeter than what I have eaten so far.

My goal is to end up satisfied,
at peace with myself, my loved ones,
and my conscience.

We have two lives
the second begins when we realize we only have one.
