Learn how to calm down when your film breaks

We all have our "tipping point"! We all have a "yellow" minute! In the car, at work, with the kids, when you run to get on the bus, when someone ignores you...

Whenever you feel that your "pressure" is rising or you are getting hot, when you have the feeling that you are going to "burst", stop and accept that this is it! Stop and consciously focus on your breathing. Then let go of the need to hold on to the situation. Detach yourself from what you expect in the moment. Everything changes. The whole perception of the situation changes.

You are changing.

But if that doesn't work for you here is a simple solution that you can apply even in cars:

Instead of getting angry, close your right nostril with your right index finger, place your left palm in a mudra position (you touch your left index finger, thumb and middle finger), then start breathing slowly and deeply, inhaling to the count of four, exhaling to the count of eight , through the left nostril. Breathing through the left nostril brings in soothing, feminine lunar energy, rather than the invigorating, masculine solar energy that naturally enters through the right nostril.

Make 7 cycles of inhalation and exhalation through the left nostril.

You might feel funny if you do this in a car for example, but believe me, while other drivers are annoyed about the traffic jam or the crowd, you will be in a much better position. Even if you do this for just one minute, it can change the way you feel.
