Active vacation
Yoga salutation from 1,480 meters above sea level
Yoga the active rest this September was held in Hotel Bel Kamen, in Plachkovica at 1480 meters above sea level. Obesides practicing yoga, we breathed clean mountain air - normally we also worked on breathing techniques, we also had meditations, then long walks through Plackovica, bathing in hot and thermal waters - in the SPA center in the hotel, evening sessions - full of questions that encourage self-exploration, but also games to awaken the curiosity and joy in each one of us.
Who would have thought that in the evening of September we will be warming ourselves with wood, next to a fireplace and drinking red wine while talking about ourselves and the opportunities we create in our life. Fortunately, the weather and the nature and energy of all participants were affected and harmonized, as the old people would say, "one of a kind".
The sincere attitude of all the participants, their openness and heartiness to get involved in all the segments of my program were amazing and I thank them all for their participation and engagement.
Well, now there were many interesting things, details and incidents that I won't talk about here, but the legend of how Mount Plackovica got its name stayed in our minds - both because of the story itself and because of the way it was told to us. Namely, Philip II, the father of the future king of the Macedonians, Alexander, brought Alexander, who was still a baby, to the most famous priestess at that time who lived on this mountain, to cure him of the bouts of crying that tormented all the courtiers. She took the child in her arms and said that he is completely healthy, and that he is crying because he has a huge energy that he is getting rid of in this way. She then predicted to him that Alexander would become king of the world and surpass his father's glory.
Philip II and King Lipius, for whom the Holy City was the capital, wept from joy and relief. Their cry brought the name of the mountain Plackovica.
Well, let's wish that we could all have opportunities to cry from happiness and joy and to reopen opportunities for this type of active vacation.
Bibi Pesheva loves you
