Yoga exercises with a stick and meditation in nature

Many people think that stretching is only for those who exercise, but in fact, everyone needs stretching, regardless of how physically active they are. It is necessary to maintain the mobility of our musculoskeletal system. Simply stretching should be a daily routine for each and every one of us and it is enough to do just fifteen minutes in the morning or evening to boost the energy of your body and mind.

Regular practice of yoga exercises with a stick brings three benefits to us:

– Energy benefit. Exercising with a stick improves the work of the energy body, improves circulation and thereby helps the life healing energy or prana to flow smoothly and nourishes and heals all the cells and cells of our body.
– Benefit for the physical body or the musculoskeletal system. Through regular practice of exercises with a stick, the neck and thoracic muscles are corrected, which improves the function of the gastrointestinal and cardiovascular systems, but also improves the work of the extremities (legs and arms). Another benefit of pole exercises is that they can be exercised for different muscle groups, fast or slow depending on the age of the practitioner.
– Benefit ie correction of the spine. Spinal column is of essential importance for our physical and energetic body. Blood circulation depends on its placement (correctness). Too much sitting in front of a computer, TV or mobile stiffens the neck vertebrae and/or distorts the spine, which in the long run can cause dizziness, headaches and other painful symptoms. Increasing blood circulation throughout the body and especially through the spine improves your overall mental, emotional and physical state.

That's why we invite you on Saturday, May 28, 2022 to come to a class in nature, to a yoga class with light and medium difficulty yoga exercises with stretching with a stick, followed by a long and beautiful meditation at sunset.

In the class, we will have twenty sticks with a length of 1.5 meters, more sticks of 1 meter, so if you don't have your own stick, you can use ours. If you have an exercise stick that is longer than 1 meter, it is advisable to take it with you.

Date: 28 May (Saturday) 2022 from 17.30. hour until 20.00 at The House of Lions

The venue is in a fully urbanized part of s.Bottom Sonya, easily accessible by car or bus (58 ca). We will work in nature. Bring: your yoga mat, something warm for the evening, something to spray against flies, and your good mood.

The class will be led by Biljana Pesheva, yoga instructor at Healthy YOGA

NOTE:  For those practicing the regular May-ski YOGA classes that take place online through the Zoom platform every Tuesday and Thursday, this class is free.
