Yoga brings balance to life

Modern medicine claims that the majority of diseases - approximately 80% - are of psycho-somatic origin. That would mean that most diseases are caused by stress. These are: insomnia, panic attacks, headaches, stomach pain, allergies, high blood pressure, asthma, cardiovascular pain, bone and skeletal system diseases, hormonal disorders. A tense and nervous person is not adaptable and out of balance.

The purpose of Yoga is to bring balance to life.

Health is our greatest wealth and in preserving our health yoga is of inestimable value. With the help of yoga, we stretch, strengthen and shape the muscular-skeletal system and in this way we slowly correct the attitude (posture) of the body, improve health and properly restore bodily functions.

The very word YOGA means unity, connection.

Yoga is the union of three things: breathing, attention, and posture, or the unity of body, spirit, and mind.

Breathing:

It is of great importance to learn to breathe properly. Breathing through the nose simultaneously filters and warms the air before it reaches the lungs. When the air is properly drawn through the nostrils, we activate a process of purification and a feeling of relaxation, which extends through the solar plexus to the entire physiology. For this purpose, in our classes we study several breathing techniques, the so-called pranayama.

Body position:

We practice asanas or positions of the body. We perform the positions correctly but within the limits of comfort and possibilities of the body. We always follow our own body and do not cross the limits of our capabilities. That is why yoga is a discipline that is recommended for all ages. For this purpose, in our classes we perform light and medium-heavy hatha yoga exercises designed for physical, mental and emotional release and restoration of balance.

Attention:

If we are present (and we should be) while practicing, we will never get injured and we can progress very quickly. Mindfulness means being actively present in the present moment. Mindfulness.

Remember that yoga exercises have a purposeful effect because they directly influence the balancing of the spirit and the body
