Danda yoga call in nature

Many people think that stretching is only for those who exercise, but in fact stretching is necessary for everyone, whether or not they are physically active. It is necessary to maintain the mobility of our musculoskeletal system. Simply stretching should be a daily routine for each of us and sometimes it is enough to do only fifteen minutes in the morning or evening to boost the energy of your body and mind.

That is why I invite you to come to a nature class on Saturday, May 28, 2022, to a yoga class with light and medium difficulty yoga exercises with a stretch with a stick, followed by meditation at sunset.

Regular yoga practice with a stick brings three benefits to us:

1. Energy Benefit Stick exercise improves the work of the energy body, improves circulation and thus helps the life healing energy or prana to flow smoothly and nourishes and heals all the cells and cells of our body.

2. Benefit for the physical body or for the musculoskeletal system Through regular exercises with a stick, the neck and thoracic muscles are corrected, which improves the function of the gastrointestinal and cardiovascular system, but also improves the work of the extremities (legs and arms). Another benefit of stick exercises is that they can be practiced for different muscle groups, fast or slow depending on the age of the practitioner.

3. Benefit or correction of the spine The spine is essential for our physical and energy body. Blood circulation depends on its position (correctness). Sitting too much in front of a computer, TV or mobile stiffens the cervical vertebrae and / or distorts the spine, which in the long run can lead to dizziness, headaches and other painful symptoms. Increasing blood circulation throughout the body, and especially through the spine, improves your overall mental, emotional and physical condition.

In the class we will have twenty sticks with a length of 1.5 meters, more sticks of 1 meter so if you do not have your own stick you can use ours. If you have an exercise stick that is longer than 1 meter, it is advisable to take it with you.

The venue is in a fully urbanized part of the village of Dolno Sonje, easily accessible by car or bus (58 ca). We will work in nature. Bring your own yoga mat (mattress), something warm for the evening, something to spray against flies, and your good mood.
